MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number)

Your MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number) is an 11 digit number, always beginning with 81 and is unique to your home.

Where can you find your MPRN?

• On the top right corner of your electricity bill from your current electricity supplier
• On the card left by your meter reader
• Or you can call NIE networks on 03457 643 643 to get your MPRN.

If you have recently moved into a new home the easiest way to get your new MPRN is from the landlord or previous owner.

If you are moving into a house that has just been built you might have to contact NIE networks to get your MPRN.
