Why do I have to pay a Security deposit?

Customers who choose not to pay by Direct Debit, excluding keypad meter customers, are required to pay a security deposit of £200.
This security deposit must be paid to allow the customers registration to begin.

We will refund this security deposit to your account after 12 months, provided all accounts have been paid on time and in full, during the previous 12 months.
