All customers receive an initial cooling off period of 10 working days, during this time you will receive no contact from Electric Ireland. If you are a Billpay Customer the switching process can take up to 4 weeks to complete. During this time we will contact your current electricity supplier and your bank to set up your direct debit. If you are a Keypad Meter Customer we will phone you within 3-4 weeks to complete your switch. We will send you text reminders during this time. The call will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
